Doug Chapman, of Owensboro, passed away May 24, 2012 at his home. He was born May 28, 1949 in Greenville, KY to the late Raymond and Edith Mae Brown Chapman. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Chapman enjoyed woodworking, gardening and family. Surviving is his spouse, Donna Brooks Chapman, children, Josh (Jamie) Chapman of Owensboro, Jeremiah Chapman of Madisonville, Sonya Chapman of Owensboro, Tammy Chapman of Lexington, 13 grandchildren and 3 sisters, Jessie McMahan of Nebo, NC, Carolyn Powell and Deborah Chapman both of Prospect, KY A Memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 311 Legion Boulevard, Owensboro, KY 42303, with Brother Tim Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the: Donna Sue Chapman Restoration Fund, 315 Whittier Drive, Owensboro, KY 42303. Envelopes will be available at the Memorial Service.
