Gayle Frashure, 74, of Owensboro, passed away on Sat., Nov. 12, 2016, at her home. Born Nov. 1, 1942, in the Ennis Community of Muhlenberg Co., she was the daughter of the late Hestel and Mable Beliles. She was a lifetime member of the AMVETS Auxiliary, Eagles, and American Legion in Marshall, Illinois. She enjoyed crocheting and helping veterans. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Frashure in 2010. She is survived by her children, Jacquita (Donnie) Kendall of West Union, Illinois, Ronda (Tom) Harper, Clifton (Katie) Frashure, and Carlinia (James) Griffith, all of Owensboro, and Bubby (Renee) Frashure of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty Shoulders of Lewisburg; and her close friend, Herman Fleming of Owensboro. No services will be held. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, Attn: RFL of Daviess-McLean Co. 3140 Parisa Dr., Paducah, KY 42003 or Paws, c/o AMVETS Post 75, 2600 W 2nd St., Owensboro, KY 42303.
