Howard Deason, 79 of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1933, in Christian Co. KY to the late Floyd and Maudie Groves Deason. He was a retired supervisor from Modern Welding and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He enjoyed shooting pool but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also preceded in death by his wife Josie M. Deason in 2009; and a foster-son, Ricky McDonald. Surviving are two foster-children that he and his late wife, Josie raised, Karen McDonald Singh of Princeton, KY, and Denise McDonald of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Crystal and Melissa McDonald of Princeton; two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Randall Ayala, and Abby Marie McDonald; a sister Louise Grace of Hopkinsville, KY; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great-nephews. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Owensboro Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Willard Walls officiating and burial to follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.   1. Denise and Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. Howard was a wonderful man. He always would stop and talk when ever I saw him around town. He took time to ask how I was doing when I was in for Maebelle’s funeral. You both are in my thoughts and prayers
