Jackie Westerman, 68, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 at Heartford House. He was born September 20, 1945 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Lawrence C and Myrtle Barrow Westerman. He was of the Baptist Faith. Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Arthur K. Edwards and a sister-in-law, Gayle Westerman. Surviving are two daughters, Jacqueline Holder of Owensboro, Kentucky and Karen (Wayne) Metzger of Boonville, Indiana, five grandchildren, Holden Metzger, Earl Cavender and Garrett, Emily and Matthew Holder, two brothers, Robert E. Westerman of Bowling Green, Kenneth E (Carolyn) Westerman of Owensboro, two sisters, Laura (Gene) Jewell of Bowling Green and Imogene Edwards of Paducah. Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Owensboro Memorial Gardens with Darryl Conner officiating.   1. Jackie and I played together as small children. I lived around the corner from him, on 14th Street. Tutti babyset for us sometimes too. I hate that we lost track of each other later in life. Condolences to the family. Linda Shelton House

    • Thanks Linda. I’m sure dad hated that too. He never forgot a friend though. I’m sure he took many wonderful memories of you with him. I will let Aunt Tootie know you wrote. It was very nice of you to take the time to do so.

  2. Had lots of fun memories of Jack when I was a kid. He would always have us kids to scratch his head and walk on his back for $1.00 then we would hit the store for some candy! Fun Times =) So sorry for your loss. =(

    • David, Uncle Kenneth passed away yesterday afternoon. Their deaths weren’t a week apart. Just wanted to let you know.

  6. Worked with Jackie for several years, Jackie was always playing jokes on the coworkers. I will miss Jackie.we worked as a team, sad that Kenneth past less then a week,Jackie all ways talk about his brother Kenneth, great then is they are together now
