Jo Nell Runyon

Jo Nell Runyon, 74, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. She was born May 28, 1939 in Sunbright, Tennessee to the late Joseph and Olie Galloway Davis. She had worked as a CNA at Owensboro Mercy Health. She attended Hall Street Baptist Church and enjoyed watching TV, writing and visiting with friends. Aside from her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Gobel Runyon (1987), a son, Glenn Runyon, Step daughter, Linda Gail Runyon, She is survived by a son, Steve Runyon, two step grandchildren, Carrie Lynn Dean and David James and a sister, Edith Walker Chatt of Tennessee. Services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Hall and burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
