Joyce Ebling

Joyce Ebling, 84, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Beaver Dam, KY. She was born July 21, 1930 in Bement, IL to the late Byron and Nellie Stone Still. She retired from Mercy Hospital and was a member of Thruston United Methodist Church. Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Ebling (1994), daughter, Carolyn Ebling (2010), son, Loren Ebling (2012), grandson, Loren Elliot Ebling, two brothers and four sisters. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia (Madison) Nicholas of Owensboro and Sharon Parks of Beaver Dam, four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one sister, Betty Floyd of Boise Idaho and one brother Melvin Still of Arcola, IL. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Ebling Cemetery in Christian County, KY. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, 1302 Frederica Street, Owensboro, KY 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
