Mary Dawson

Mary Dawson, 88, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, in Owensboro. She was born in New Boston, Ohio on January 11, 1924 to the late Carmine and Victoria Curcio. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephen Cathedral. She enjoyed cooking Italian dinners, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel W. Dawson (2010), 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are 3 daughters, Debbie (Gary) Marnhout, Sally (Vaughan) Jones all of Louisville, Mary Ellen Fulks of Owensboro, 8 grandchildren, Deanna Latanzio, Rick (Rachel) Latanzio, Andrea Latanzio, Jeremy Clark, Amy (Andrew) Hurt, Sara Fulks, Brittany Fulks, Brad (Sarah) Fulks, 5 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mafalda Kline of Miami, Florida. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Father Tony Jones officiating and burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.
