Sandra Priar, 74, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Owensboro on January 28, 1944 to the late Robert Farber and Mildred Bivens Farber. Sandra was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. She retired from GE in the Grid Department and enjoyed crafting, gardening and swimming.
Along with her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Farber, and her daughter, Bethany Taylor.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 53 years, Glover Priar, and her daughter, Stacy (Theo) Harvey of San Antonio, Texas, and 2 grandchildren, Katherine Boyens and Alexander Boyens. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley (Malcolm) Eble of Rockport, Indiana.
Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Barney Priar officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky; 3419 Wathens Crossing; Owensboro, KY 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
