Warren Calhoun, 59, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013. He was born October 14, 1953 in Daviess County to the late John Wendell and Martine Warren Calhoun. He was a farmer, worked at Colonial Bakery for 25 years prior to retiring from Kimberly Clark after 10 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, canning, watching sports and loved playing softball and coaching baseball. Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Vickie Moss Calhoun, three sons, Jeremy (Tiffany) Calhoun, Jason (Shelley) Calhoun, Marcus (Mindy) Calhoun; grandchildren, Ralee, Logan, Macy and Owen; and four sisters, Judy (Ralph) Ward, Brenda (Tommy) England, Wilda Matthis and Kaye Winfield. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with Pastor John Morse officiating and burial to follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
