Jane Huebner Yeiser, 83, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro on May 23, 1935 to the late John Huebner and Virginia Stone Huebner. Mrs. Yeiser graduated from Owensboro High School in 1953 and went on to attend the University of Kentucky where she received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Education. She was also active in Kappa Delta Sorority. Jane and Billy Joe married in 1958. They were active members of Cumberland Presbyterian Church for the 58 years they were married. Jane was a member of the Junior League of Owensboro, the Women’s Guild, and Cumberland Presbyterian Women. She was a loving mom and homemaker for her family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe, in October 2016, and her sister, Ann H. Lovern. Survivors include her son, Dr. John Bryant Yeiser and wife Dr. Donna Yeiser of Columbus Georgia; a daughter, Virginia “Ginger” Kurlas and husband Anthony “Tony” Kurlas of Jacksonville, Florida; a grandson, William “Will” Bryant Yeiser of Columbus; granddaughters Courtney Jane, Mimi Page and Virginia “Ginny” Scott Kurlas, all of Jacksonville. Services will be 11:00 am Monday, March 18, 2019 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Reverend Tim McGuire and Reverend Wally Renner officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, and again from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Owensboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church; 910 Booth Avenue; Owensboro, Kentucky 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.   1. Caring for Billy Joe and then Jane was such a privilege, they both have made my life richer. Billy Joe is missed and Jane will also be very missed, but I take comfort in knowing they are together with our Lord!!!
