Margaret Felix, 84, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018, at the Owensboro Center. She was born August 19, 1934 to the late Pearl Carson Bratton Chinn and Harry Bratton. Margaret was a member of Church of Living God – PGT. She worked at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital as a housekeeper, General Electric, and was formerly a pastor. Along with her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Felix, her daughter, Celestine Mayes, and her half-brother, John Edward Wilson. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Ann (Kenneth) Matchen of Owensboro, 2 grandchildren, Amber Taylor and Staci Mayes, 3 great-grandchildren, Arianna Taylor, Jalen Taylor, and Ise’is Harris. Services will be noon Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Church of the Living God – PGT; 2319 West 10th Street; Owensboro, Kentucky 42301, with Pastor Linda Young officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, and again from 11:00 am until time of service at the church.
