Michael Woosley, 39, of Caneyville, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018. He was born June 8, 1978 in Elizabethtown to Mike (Beth) Woosley and Sarah (Gilbert) Lacefield Shaw. Michael was owner of 4 All Drywall. He was an incredibly talented songwriter and singer. His songs have entertained countless of people, with many of his performances being posted on YouTube. Michael was so funny. Oftentimes, you’d hear him doing funny voices, impersonations, or making silly faces. He had a way of making you laugh, even if you’re in a place where you shouldn’t be, like church. Caitlyn, his daughter, was his world. To him, she hung the moon. He attended First Apostolic Church of Millwood. Aside from his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Caitlyn; 2 sisters, Lora (Jody) Logsdon and Beth Woosley; 2 step-sisters, Michelle Bryant and Katy Newton; a step- brother Tim Shaw; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who loved him dearly. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, May 12, 2018, at First Apostolic Church of Millwood. Burial will follow in First Apostolic of Millwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Dermitt Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville, and Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at First Apostolic Church of Millwood.
