Owen Flener, age 59, of Caneyville passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at his residence. He was born September 9, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Avery Flener, Sr. and Cora Mae Wilson Flener.
He is survived by his mother, Cora Cardwell, brother, Avery Flener, Jr (Carla), son, Jeremy Flener, 1 granddaughter, 1 niece and 2 nephews.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Taylor, girlfriend, Betty Roberts, stepfather, Theron Cardwell and son, Adam Flener.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel in Caneyville, Kentucky with Bro. Mickey Coates officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Home Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 10:30 a.m. and until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
