Timothy Cotton

Timothy Cotton, 52, of Owensboro, KY, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his home. He was born on December 16, 1965 in Louisville, KY to Eugene Cotton and the late Ethel M. Pierce Cotton. Tim was a member of Owensboro First Church of God, and he retired after 7 years from Starway TV where he worked as a sales manager. Along with his mother, Tim was preceded in death by a step-daughter Karen Sue Braden. Tim is survived by his wife, Billie Cotton, step children Kimberly (Glenn) Cline of Owensboro, KY, Kenneth T. Braden of Masonville, KY, and Stephen W. Braden of Owensboro, KY, 10 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Lena (Bruce) Mitchell of Hartford, KY, Lanetta (Bo) Lytle of Beaver Dam, KY, and Michael Cotton of Owensboro, KY. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with burial at Clear Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, and from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
